Name:

God has been doing phenomenal things in my life. I am no longer the person that I used to be; God has changed me. I have been made whole. I have been through the fire. There have been many days were things appeared to be down and very few days that looked good. God rescued me in the middle of my storm. When we call on God, he will answer us. However, there was a greater blessing in the mist of all of this. It was the relationship that He established between us. I have a real relationship with God now. Like any relationship there is a give and take. One thing I had to give was my time (there are other things but I won’t go there today). I had to take the time to study my word. That is how we get to know God; by studying his word. This Blogger shares the lessons that God has taught me.

Lessons Learned From
The Women with the Issue of Blood

Mark 5: 25-34 (King James Version)
“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”

-The story of the women with the issue of blood is a very popularly story and there are many lessons that can be learned from her. Upon my studying of this story, the Holy Spirit gave me three different revelations/lessons. However, we can never put limits on God and I pray that as you learn more about this story the Holy Spirit will give you divine revelations of your own. Before we address the lessons learned, I will briefly recap the story.
-Jesus was on his way to heal Jarius’ daughter from her illness and it states that “much people followed him,” (Mark 5: 21-24). With everyone who was present around him there was in the mist a women who had an issue of blood for 12 years. She had been to many doctors to be healed and it only made her condition worse. She said within herself, if I could just touch his clothing and upon touching HisiHIHH garment she was healed. Then Jesus questioned who had touched Him because he felt virtue go out of Him. His disciples rebuked Him by saying, Lord there are some many people around how can you say who touched me. The woman confessed that she touched Jesus and he told her because of her faith she was healed.
-The three lessons that the Holy Spirit reveled to me are as followed:
1. Tried of being tried and sick of being sick.
2. A strong faith in God will get his attention.
3. Many were present; only one was delivered.

This week we will address each one of these lessons. “Lord, please open up my heart to receive the lessons learned and give me new revelations as I read.”
