Name:

God has been doing phenomenal things in my life. I am no longer the person that I used to be; God has changed me. I have been made whole. I have been through the fire. There have been many days were things appeared to be down and very few days that looked good. God rescued me in the middle of my storm. When we call on God, he will answer us. However, there was a greater blessing in the mist of all of this. It was the relationship that He established between us. I have a real relationship with God now. Like any relationship there is a give and take. One thing I had to give was my time (there are other things but I won’t go there today). I had to take the time to study my word. That is how we get to know God; by studying his word. This Blogger shares the lessons that God has taught me.

Acts 1:7 (King James Version)
“And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.”

-This is what Jesus told his disciples before He ascended into heaven, when they asked Him when He would return. Only God’s knows when Jesus will return. The times and seasons of things are in His hands. There are times in our lives when we may be going through a rough season. The first thing we what to say is, “When, why, and how long? There are many factors that can determine how long we will be in a certain season. The Israelites were in the wilderness for 40 years and it was only suppose to be a 11 day journey. God was trying to instill in them that He was their God and that He would provid for them in every situation regardless of how it looked. -What ever God is trying to instill in us during our season, we need to allow His will to be done. Even when we think we have learned whatever lesson(s) God wants us to learn. We still don’t determine when our season will be over, however, we can determine within ourselves how we will go through our season. This can be done by asking God for His help. “Lord, please give me what I need to bare “through” my rough seasons manfully with joy.”
