Name:

God has been doing phenomenal things in my life. I am no longer the person that I used to be; God has changed me. I have been made whole. I have been through the fire. There have been many days were things appeared to be down and very few days that looked good. God rescued me in the middle of my storm. When we call on God, he will answer us. However, there was a greater blessing in the mist of all of this. It was the relationship that He established between us. I have a real relationship with God now. Like any relationship there is a give and take. One thing I had to give was my time (there are other things but I won’t go there today). I had to take the time to study my word. That is how we get to know God; by studying his word. This Blogger shares the lessons that God has taught me.

The Fiery Furnace
Lesson Three:
Coming Out Clean &
Promoted

Daniel 3:27 (King James Version)
“And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellers, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was a hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.”

Daniel 3:30 (King James Version)
“Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.”

-Last week, we were studying Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego and how they would not bow to the golden image which the king had set up. We have already covered the fact that they were delivered from the fire. Now I would like to address how they came out of the fire. The above verse states that when they came out of the fire there was no evidence that they had ever been in a fire.
-That is exactly how God will deliver us. After we have gone through the fire, we will not come out with any evidence that we were ever in the fire. People will find it hard to believe, that we had gone through anything at all.
-Promotion comes from God. After the Hebrew boys had gone through the fire, they were promoted. We need to stay mindful that everything we do must be done unto God and in due time He will exalt us (1 Peter 5:6).
“Lord, please keep me mindful of the fact everything I do must be done unto you and that in due time you will promote me. Cause me to understand that when I come out of my current fires their will be no evidence that there ever was a fire.”
